On 9 November 2017, 28 students from the Kyiv International University visited the Embassy of Malaysia to gain insights on the workings of an Embassy and the world of diplomacy.
Greeted by H.E. Ambassador Datuk Ayauf Bachi, the students had a chance to discuss the modern aspects of global diplomacy and the main dimensions of international diplomacy. In this regard, H.E. Ambassador shared his personal observations on international developments such as countering terrorism; human rights; climate change; and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The students also had a tour of the Embassy and a short briefing on the roles and functions of the Embassy of Malaysia in Kyiv.
It has been a great privilege for the Embassy to host such a lively and promising group of Ukrainian youth and we hope to be able to continue engaging with them.
