ANNOUNCEMENT ON ONE-STOP CENTRE (OSC) FOR BUSINESS TRAVELLERS BY MALAYSIAN INVESTMENT DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (MIDA)

The purpose of the OSC is to ensure Malaysia remains steady on the path of economic recovery and growth by enabling business travellers’ movement to do their business or work in Malaysia. MIDA in its press release announced that effective from 3 March 2021, Short and Long Term Business Travellers may apply for entry permission through a dedicated portal, the press release could be viewed on the following link: https://www.mida.gov.my/media-release/malaysias-safe-travel-portal-for-business-travellers-goes-live/ 

Further information regarding the OSC as well as the relevant processes/procedures/guidelines/SOPs for entry of business travellers into Malaysia can be accessed at the portal as follows: https://safetravel.mida.gov.my 

Business travellers must obtain the Letter of Undertaking from Malaysia’s Safe Travel portal, namely Letter of Undertaking and Indemnity (LoU) for Short Term Business Travellers and Letter of Undertaking for Persons under Surveillance (PUS) for Long Term Business Travellers, prior to disembarking on their journey to Malaysia. Travellers are advised to read and fully understand the content of the document.

Kindly note that both documents (the LoU and the PUS) are not required to be stamped/endorsed by the Embassy.
