The Embassy of Malaysia in Kyiv was proud to renew its participation in the annual Charity Bazaar organised by the International Women’s Club of Kyiv (IWCK) on 3 December 2016 since its last participation in 2012. The Embassy joined the 24th Charity Bazaar with its own stand, which offered traditional Malaysian foods and Malaysian products made of batik and songket which were perfect for Christmas gifts.
The IWCK Charity Bazaar is an annual event held to raise money for those in need in Ukraine. All revenues from the Bazaar would go to orphans, elderly people, disabled kids and others, with the hope that it would help bringing joy to the less fortunate at Christmas time. 38 Embassies in Kyiv participated in this year’s Bazaar.
The staffs of the Embassy of Malaysia were honoured to be able to play their part to help the most vulnerable members of the Ukrainian society. It is indeed important that we all stand together behind causes bringing good in the lives of those in need.
