The Embassy of Malaysia in Kyiv was honoured to be invited to be part of the “Aristocratic Ukraine” ethnic clothes festival held at the Historical and Cultural Complex Radomysl Castle Museum on 28 July 2018.
The “Aristocratic Ukraine” is held annually aimed at the revival of cultural traditions of Ukraine and promotion of public diplomacy between local ethnic groups as well as international community living in Ukraine.
During the opening of the festival, models flaunted the traditional wear of Baju Melayu as well as Baju Kurung and walked the runway for the “Malaysian look”. The bold colours and motifs of the batik textile caught the attention of the audience.
