CEO MREPC calls on Ambassador of malaysia to ukraine
H.E. Mr. Chuah Teong Ban, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine received a 10-member delegation of Malaysian Rubber Export Promotional Council (MREPC), led by YBhg. Dato’ Teo Suat Cheng, on 22 May 2012. H.E. Ambassador welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the status of the bilateral political and economic relations between Malaysia and Ukraine, domestic political and economic situation in Ukraine, legislation on registration of latex products in Ukraine and also Ukrainian market prospect on latex and rubber products.
The MREPC delegation was on a technical mission to Ukraine, for the first time, from 19-23 May 2012 to promote the use of latex medical devices and also to conduct a seminar entitled: Managing Infection Control” on 21 May 2012. This seminar chaired by H.E. Ambassador of Malaysia was successful in attracting 40 participants comprising senior health officials, medical associations and nurses, pharmaceutical importers and traders. Encouraged by the promising response and prospect, MREPC is planning to participate in the medical devices fairs in Ukraine in the future.
