embassy of malaysia says thank you to ukrainian mass media
H.E. Ambassador Chuah Teong Ban, hosted an appreciation dinner for the representatives of the Ukrainian mass media on 8 November 2012 at Rumah Malaysia. A wide range of journalists including representatives of Ukrainian state-owned TV “UTR” channel and government newspaper “Government Courier”, leading news agency Interfax, tourism magazines, internet media, and many others attended the dinner.
In his welcoming remarks, H.E. Ambassador Chuah expressed his sincere appreciation to all journalists that have been working closely with the Embassy of Malaysia in Ukraine to promote the awareness of Malaysia among the Ukrainian community. H.E. Ambassador Chuah hoped that such active partnership would continue to flourish in the coming years so that Malaysia will be in the political and business radar in Ukraine. The representatives of Ukrainian media assured H.E. Ambassador Chuah their commitments to extend cooperation with the Embassy of Malaysia to further raise the level of public knowledge on Malaysia. The diversified Malaysian traditional cuisines served at the dinner have enabled the journalists to have a better understanding of the diverse cultures of Malaysia.
