The Embassy of Malaysia’s booth at this year’s Charity Bazaar held on 8 December 2018 was packed with shoppers who were also doing a spot of Christmas shopping. Local shoppers were fond of a variety of items made of Malaysian batik such as sarong / pareo, shawl, fan and robe. Malaysian dishes namely mee goreng (fried noodles) and nasi goreng (fried rice) were also quickly sold out.
The annual Charity Bazaar organised by the International Women’s Club of Kyiv (IWCK) has been a great way for the Embassy to give back to the Ukrainian community, by contributing our proceeds to the local charities. Moreover, the Embassy’s staffs have gained enriching experience from such engagement in the community whereby the activity also contributes to the Embassy’s organisation development by increasing the engagement between our staffs in a positive manner.
