H.E Ambassador Calls on Head of Kyiv City State Administration


 
 

On 14 March 2012, H.E. Mr. ChuahTeong Ban, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine made a courtesy call on Mr. Oleksandr Popov, Head of Kyiv City State Administration. During the call, H.E. Ambassador Chuah expressed satisfaction that the city administration has planned the city well and kept the capital city clean and orderly, especially in maintaining many green zones in the city to promote healthy living and life style.

Towards this end, Mr. Popov shared with H.E. Ambassador Chuah on the future development initiatives to improve the standard and quality of life in Kyiv until 2025 as contained in the recently adopted Kyiv City Development Strategic Plan. H.E. Ambassador Chuah expressed Malaysia’s keen interest to take part in the Strategic Plan, particularly in the economic development of Kyiv - to transform the capital city into a modernand sustainable green city.

Mr. Popov extended an invitation to H.E. Ambassador Chuah to participate in the Inaugural Kyiv Investment Forum scheduled on 29 March 2012. H.E Ambassador Chuah assured that Malaysia through MATRADE (Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation) will encourage Malaysian businessmen to participate in the forum.
