H.E Ambassador Chuah dialogue with Ukraine-Malaysia Interparliament Group of Friendship

At the invitation of Mr.Andriy Shkil, Member of Ukrainian Parliament-cum-Chairman of Ukraine-Malaysia Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, H.E. Chuah Teong Ban, Ambassador of Malaysia had a productive meeting at the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) on 13 January 2012.

Both sides discussed the possible bilateral cooperation and collaborations, including some concrete projects and activities for 2012. The main focus was on ofrgin cooperation in civil and military aviation industry, particularly the various product items produced by a global manufacturer of aviation engine, MotorSich. In order to provide Ambassador Chuah a better understand and an overview of the company operation, business interest and activities the representative of the Ukrainian company,  MotorSich invited Ambassador Chuah to visit the plant in Zaporizhia to see firsthand the advanced aviation products.

Before concluding, Ambassador Chuah reiterated Malaysia’s strong interest in tapping the Ukrainian technological expertise, in particular defence and aviation industry. H.E.Ambassador assured the Ukrainian side that the Embassy will continue to work closely with the Ukraine-Malaysia Interparliament Group of Friendship towards further developing and implementing bilateral projects for mutual benefit.
