Based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of March 22, 2021 № 230, effective from March 24, 2021, all foreign citizens are required to present a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before travelling to Ukraine. This requirement is applicable both during arrival and transit in Ukraine. Travellers are also required to have a valid insurance policy that covers COVID-19 related treatment for the entire period of stay in Ukraine.

The option to carry out PCR test upon arrival is no longer possible.  Travellers who fail to provide the negative PCR test and valid insurance policy document will not be permitted entry into Ukraine.
