As part of their World History and Culture learning, a group of eight grade students from the Kyiv Christian Academy (KCA) visited the Embassy of Malaysia on 18 April 2018. The students listened to a briefing on Malaysia’s culture, food, history and the present state of the country. The students were inquisitive and keen to know more about life in Malaysia during pre-independence as well as cultural similarities between Malaysia and Ukraine.
Before the session ends, the students were treated to a quintessential Malaysian dish – the chicken rice – which they really relished.
The visit of the KCA students was held under the auspices of the Embassy’s public diplomacy programme for 2018.
