Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) co-sponsored the annual IX International Children Festival “Follow Your Dream” held in Kyiv on 1 June 2015 in conjunction with the celebrations of the Protection of Children Rights Day in Ukraine. The prestigious gala festival was to support and encourage local Ukrainian talent growth, especially those socially disadvantaged youth including the internally displaced children from the conflict zone in east of Ukraine.
Young talents from across Ukraine and other neighboring countries had to compete and excel in singing, dance, and artistic performance. As key partners of the festival, MPOC not only shared its corporate social responsibility to support special needs children, but also indirectly played its role towards reinforcing their self-confidence.
H.E. Chuah Teong Ban, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine and Mr. Aleksey Udovenko representative of MPOC office in Moscow joined other dignitaries at the festival to show unwavering support and share the joy with the children.
