The profound sense of friendship filled the evening as the Embassy of Malaysia in Kyiv hosted the media and its partners as well as residing Malaysians in Kyiv at the High Tea with Friends of Malaysia on 9 December 2016. 48 guests attended the event which aimed at enhancing the Embassy’s networking and interactions with our media friends and associates from various spheres. In addition, the event was a show of the Embassy’s appreciation for the continuous support and cooperation extended by the Friends of Malaysia throughout the year.
Welcoming the guests, His Excellency Datuk Ayauf Bachi, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine said that he strongly believed that the Friends of Malaysia could make fruitful contribution in fostering bilateral relations between Malaysia and Ukraine to greater heights through such event like this. The High Tea was also an excellent platform for the Embassy to share the highlights of Malaysia-Ukraine bilateral relations in 2016 including the milestone official visit of His Excellency Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine to Malaysia.
The Embassy looks forward to continue working closely with our Friends of Malaysia with a view of expanding and strengthening cooperative endeavours between Malaysia and Ukraine for mutual benefits.
