On 2 March 2020, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine met with Mr. Oleksandr Merezhko, Chairman of the Foreign Policy and Inter-parliamentary Committee of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament of Ukraine) at the latter’s office. The Malaysian Ambassador and Mr. Merezhko discussed and exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues of mutual interest. The Ambassador also briefed Mr. Merezhko on the latest political developments in Malaysia. Mr. Merezhko is a Member of Parliament from the Servant of People party and is currently one of the Vice Presidents of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
