On 1 July 2020, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine met with Mr. Yevhen Pikalov, Director General of the Directorate General for the Asia-Pacific Region, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ukraine (MFA) at the MFA. Both had frank and extensive discussion on a wide range of topics of mutual interest including trade and investment, defence, aerospace, tourism, education, candidatures in international organisations and others. They also explored the possibility of convening the Joint Trade Commission (JTC) and Joint Commission on Defence Cooperation meetings. Prior to his recent appointment as Director General at the MFA, Mr. Yevhen Pikalov was the Head of the Department of International Legal Cooperation in the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
