On 8 September 2020, H.E. Ambassador Raja’ Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah met with Mr. Yevhen Yenin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kyiv. Both exchanged views on the ongoing cooperation between Malaysia and Ukraine. They expressed satisfaction over the intensification of bilateral relations particularly in the areas of aerospace, aviation and trade. Present also at the meeting was Mr. Volodymyr Usov, Head of the State Space Agency of Ukraine (SSAU). The ambassador also updated the Deputy Minister on the upcoming ‘Ukraine-Malaysia New Markets & New Opportunities – Post COVID-19’ online conference to be organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) in which 300 Ukrainian and Malaysian companies are expected to participate.
