NEW SYSTEM TO FACILITATE APPLICATION FOR EXIT AND ENTRY PERMISSION OF COUNTRY FOR MALAYSIAN CITIZENS AND FOREIGNERS STARTING 8 OCTOBER 2020
Effective from 8 October 2020, applications for entry and exit permission by Malaysians and foreigners can be submitted online via myTravelPass (MTP) system, and no longer by email as usual.
The MTP system is accessible via https://mtp.imi.gov.my/myTravelPass/main. Applications submitted in full together with the supporting documents will be processed within five (5) working days, where the applicant will be notified via email whether the application is approved or otherwise. Any questions regarding the application via MTP can be forwarded at http://eapp.imi.gov.my/tanya/create.
At the same time, applicants who wish to enter Malaysia are still required to submit a complete Letter of Undertaking and Indemnity (LoU). Hence, the issuance of the Travel Notice by the Malaysian Representative Office overseas is still applicable.
