Mrs.Wong Li Kheen, Charge d’Affaires a.i. participated at the Annual meeting of Ukrainian diving center Katran
Following the invitation of the diving center Katran (Kyiv), Mrs.Wong Li Kheen, Charge d’Affaires ad interim took part in the annual meeting conducted on 24 December 2011. During the event Mrs.Wong Li Kheen made a presentation of diving opportunities in Malaysia with special focus on diving activities in Sipadan island. Sipadan island is among the top diving sites of the world located in the center of Indo-Pacific ecosystem accounting for 3,000 species of fish and hundreds of corals. Brochures on Malaysia were distributed to members of the center to create awareness and interest on diving activities in Malaysia. As a result, Mr.Vladimir Ovramenkov, Director of the Katran Diving Center, informed that Katran is scheduling a diving tour for its members to Sipadan, Malaysia.
