New record of the 25th Charity Bazaar: UAH 3.3 million collected!

On December 2, 2017, the International Women's Club of Kiev (IWCK) held the 25th Charity Bazaar at the NSC ‘Olimpiysky’. Forty four embassies, international companies, representatives of Ukrainian and international cultural organizations were raising money together to help women, children, people with special needs and the elderly. This year we welcomed new embassies at the Bazaar - Egypt, Israel, Italy, Macedonia, Norway, the United Arab Emirates and Montenegro.
We are pleased to announce that more than 8,000 guests visited the event this year. With their help we collected more than 2,550,000 hryvnias. The final sum collected during the Bazaar amounted UAH 3,300,000.00.

This year guests of the Bazaar could visit the booths of the participating countries, try a variety of national dishes and buy art products. They could also take part in the lottery, enjoy Christmas decorations, musical and dance performances of such countries as Indonesia, Argentina, India, Georgia, Latvia, Japan, Greece, Bulgaria and Ukraine, to participate in first emergency medical aid training organized by the Red Cross specialists. Visitors also had an opportunity to try themselves in a variety of dance master classes. At the United States booth children and adults could take photos with Santa Claus. Among the lottery prizes were gift baskets from embassies, tickets from airlines, as well as various gift certificates from restaurants, hotels, medical centers and other international institutions. The most attractive gifts were vouchers for tourist travels abroad.
In the Kid's corner, small visitors could learn to dance with the IWCK Disco Queen, make Christmas decorations, meet robots from BOTEON or draw with VoyDiCo Ukraine. Various master classes were organized by Ukrainian and international schools.
