The Embassy of Malaysia once again participated in the 27th International Women's Club of Kyiv’s (IWCK) Annual Charity Bazaar held on 30 November 2019 at the Olimpiyskiy Stadium Kyiv.
Malaysia took part in the flag parade at the opening ceremony of the event and set up a booth decorated with traditional art effects, batiks, orang utans soft toys and colourful posters to promote the Visit Malaysia Year 2020.
The Malaysian Embassy staff were spotted busy manning the booth where they promoted and sold Malaysian dishes such as nasi lemak, mee goreng, nasi goreng, bihun goreng and teh tarik, including various brands of Malaysian produced snacks. Among the favourite Malaysian products bought by the visitors were colourful batik pareos, scarfs, fans and bags.
The main goal of the annual Charity Bazaar organised by the IWCK is to bring together the international communities in Kyiv to help the Ukrainian community by contributing the proceeds of sale to the local charities for women, children and people with disability. The Embassy of Malaysia was delighted to be part of the charity bazaar for such a noble cause.
