On 15-17 April 2015, the Embassy of Malaysia in Ukraine together with MATRADE Kiev office took part in the 5th International Medical Forum of Ukraine cum Health Travel Expo International Exhibition. This annual medical forum served as a pivotal platform for the development of medical and healthcare tourism in Ukraine which was aimed at uniting industry specialists, exchanges of experience and raising the professionalism of specialist doctors.
At this forum, the Embassy of Malaysia and MATRADE Kiev was able to promote the potential of Malaysian medical tourism industries by the distribution of brochures of leading Malaysian hospitals and resorts supplied by Malaysian Health Travel Council (MHTC) as well as trade catalogues to Ukrainian businessmen. There were also many enquiries by Ukrainian business circle searching for Malaysian exporters of medical products and components.
