On 9 November 2019, H.E. Ambassador Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah and wife, Datin Roslina Ismail attended the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday celebration held at Al-Rahmah mosque in Kyiv organised by the Administration of Muslims of Ukraine (DUMU). More than 700 guests including members of the diplomatic corps, government officials and religious leaders from different faiths were present. Speeches were delivered by Sheikh Ahmed Tamim, Ukraine’s Mufti and the representative from the Ukrainian government. During the event, performers mostly school children sang several religious songs praising Allah. The Prophet Muhammad’s birthday also known as Mawlid Al-Nabi Al-Sharif is observed on 12th Rabi Al-Awal in the third month of the Islamic calendar.
