On 5 July 2021, the Charge d'Affaires a.i. attended the Roundtable on the occasion of the 121st Anniversary of Muhammad Assad (Leopold Weis) organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and Ukrainian Initiative NGO. The event was held to commemorate the 121st Anniversary of Muhammad Assad, one of the greatest Muslim thinkers in the 20th century as well as to launch the Ukrainian translations of Muhammad Assad’s books namely ‘The Unromantic Orient, ‘The Road to Mecca’ and ‘Spiritual Returns’.
