Team Embassy of Malaysia, kyiv emerges Runner-up in inter embassies futsal tournament
Bravo!! Team Embassy of Malaysia led by H.E. Mr.Chuah Teong Ban, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine was the runner-up during the recent Futsal tournament among diplomatic corps in Ukraine held from 21-22 May 2012. The tournament was orgainsed annually under the auspices of Government of Ukraine by the State Committee of Youth and Sports.
Being the first time for Embassy of Malaysia in Ukraine to take part in such sports event, Team Embassy of Malaysia was the rookies and underdog at the start of the tournament. However, after the first goal scored by H.E. Ambassador Chuah himself at the first match, all team players were indeed inspired and motivated to play and fought on harder resulting in victory after victory until the final against the younger and more formidable team of Kazakhstan. This is truly Malaysia Boleh spirit !!!
