The Ambassadors of Vietnam and Malaysia as well as the Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Indonesia got together at Rumah Malaysia on 27 July 2016 to update each other on the progress of the proposed programmes that would be organised by ASEAN Embassies this year as well as the proposal to formally establish the ASEAN Committee in Kyiv (ACK). The meeting also reflected the outcome of the 49th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings in Laos which had concluded on 26 July 2016. The ASEAN Embassies’ representatives were feted to a Malaysian home-cooked lunch following the meeting.
Such get-together amongst ASEAN Embassies is significant to facilitate more dialogues and exchange of views aimed at boosting cooperation towards a dynamic ASEAN Community.
