At the request of Mr. Andriy Dykun, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine, H.E. Chuah Teong Ban, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine met him at his office on 29 April 2014. During the meeting, both sides discussed the scope of cooperation related to agriculture that both Malaysia and Ukraine could offer. On Malaysia side, Ambassador Chuah explored the possibility of promoting new non-traditional exports and import items to further increase the bilateral trade volume.
The Deputy Minister expressed the interest of Ukraine to look seriously into specific targeted sectors for mutual interest, including active participation of Ukrainian companies in trade exhibitions in Malaysia, such as MIHAS and INTRADE.
