Ukrainian Language book on malaysia was launched
In commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Ukraine, the Embassy of Malaysia proudly launched the memoir “Malaysia through Ukrainian Eyes” on 27 March 2012. The memoir written by Professor Volodymyr Mosorov was based on his first-hand experience, perception, and assessment of the complex and rich Malaysian social culture during his short six-month sojourn in Malaysia. He is a professor of computer engineering at the Technical University of Lodz in Poland.
The launching ceremony was well attended by prominent politicians, senior officials, business leaders, captains of tourism agencies and Ukrainian mass media. H.E.Andriy Shkil, Member of Ukrainian Parliament and Chairman of Ukraine-Malaysia Inter-Parliamentary Group of Friendship was the guest of honour and actively participated in the launching ceremony.
A seminar on Malaysian Tourism was also organized jointly by the Embassy of Malaysia and Tourism Office of Malaysia during the ceremony. The presentation by Tourism Office has provided the audience with many exciting and interesting prospects of discovering Malaysia more closely. They were impressed with the success story of Malaysia’s Tourism industry and its strategic promotional efforts in coming up with a wide range of tourism products and packages along the tagline “Malaysia Truly Asia”.
