UPDATES ON ENTRY AND QUARANTINE PROCESS STARTING 24 JULY 2020

UPDATES ON:

1. MANDATORY QUARANTINE AT QUARANTINE CENTRES IN MALAYSIA: &
2. COVID-19 TESTS BEFORE TRAVELING TO MALAYSIA

• Effective 24 July 2020, all Malaysians and eligible foreigners who enter Malaysia will have to undergo 14-day mandatory quarantine at government-designated quarantine centres.  They will no longer undergo home quarantine.  They will have to bear the full cost of the quarantine (RM 150.00 per day per person).
• Effective 24 July 2020, Malaysians who wish to return to Malaysia no longer have to undergo a Covid-19 test before their flight to Malaysia.
• Foreigners eligible to enter Malaysia still have to take a PCR Covid-19 test and present a negative report (three days valid to date of departure) to enter Malaysia.
