A video conference was convened on 16 September 2020 between the Malaysian and Ukrainian sides to discuss collaboration in the field of aerospace. Among those who participated in the discussion from the Malaysian side were H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine, Mr Silmi Abdul Rahman, CEO of TERAJU, Dr Muhammad Abdullah Haji Zaidel, Director of the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), State of Sarawak, Dato’ Dr Ir Ts Mohd Abdul Karim and Datuk Hj Abdul Kadier Sahib, Group CEO and Chairman of Serba Dinamik Holdings Berhad respectively and Dato’ Shafiee Mahat, Deputy Executive Chairman of Tijan Galaxy Aerospace Consortium (TGAC). The Ukrainian side was represented among others by H.E. Olexander Nechytaylo, Ambassador of Ukraine to Malaysia and representatives from Yuzhmash, state-owned rocket manufacturer and Space Initiative Centre (SIC). Both sides agreed on practical steps to move forward the discussion.
