On 25 February 2021, H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Ukraine met with the Director-General of UKRINFORM Mr. Oleksandr Kharchenko at the latter's office. The meeting was held to explore possible engagement between the Ukraine national news agency and news agencies in Malaysia. During the meeting, Mr. Kharchenko mentioned that UKRINFORM looks forward to establishing relations with Malaysian news agencies to broaden partnership in other regions, particularly Southeast Asia. An interview was also carried out by the Chief Editor of UKRINFORM, Ms. Nataliia Kostina in which the Ambassador covered a wide range of topics concerning bilateral relations including trade and investment, tourism as well as the MH17 incident.
