The staff of the Embassy of Malaysia in Kyiv wore Vyshyvanka to commemorate Vyshyvanka Day on 20 May 2021. The colourful and elegant design of Vyshyvanka gave a more cheerful vibe to the staff of the Embassy despite the inclement weather on that day. Ukrainian Vyshyvanka is distinguished by local embroidery features specific to Ukrainian embroidery.
