On 26-28 October 2016, the Embassy of Malaysia in Kyiv together with MATRADE office in Kyiv took part in the WorldFood Ukraine 2016 international exhibition for food products and ingredients.
WorldFood Ukraine is the country’s sole international exhibition for the food and beverage industry. The event has become an important meeting place for international suppliers to meet with local buyers, including producers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and restaurateurs.
Opening an exhibition booth during the WorldFood Ukraine has enabled Malaysia to promote Malaysian food products and services for Ukrainian consumers as well as the international market. In this regard, some samples of Malaysian products including crackers, crunches, chocolate sandwiches, wafers and wafer rolls were displayed at the Malaysian booth. Malaysia’s participation in the WorldFood Ukraine was well received and fruitful in generating interest from the local and international industry players to initiate business cooperation with Malaysian food and beverage manufacturers.
