Consul General of Malaysia in Los Angeles, Mr. Nekmat Ismail and other Consuls General and Honorary Consuls based in Los Angeles participated in the 26th Consular Corps Golf / Tennis Invitational held at the Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles, California on Monday, 24 September 2012.
The Invitational is an annual event hosted by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the business community. The event honors the Los Angeles Consular Corps and Foreign Trade Representatives in Los Angeles who represent the respective country’s interest in the United States. The Invitational also allows the host to showcase their outstanding business associates to the international community.
The Los Angeles Consular Corps consist of 97 Consulates (62 career and 35 honorary), is the second largest Consular Corps in the United States.
