On Thursday, 15th March 2012, Consul General Mr. Nekmat Ismail, Director MIDA Los Angeles Mr. Hazli Jemaat and Director MATRADE Los Angeles Mr. Fauzi Ayob met with the Economic and Business Development team of the City of Murrieta. They were Mr. Rick Dudley, City Manager, Mr. Bruce Coleman, Economic Development Director and Ms. Kimberly Davidson, Business Development Manager. The Meeting was to discuss on the possibility to organize 'Bussiness Breakfast' with the business community in and around City of Murrieta in order for them to learn more about business opportunities in Malaysia and vice-versa.
Murrietta is one of the cities in Southern California which is proximity to San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County. A regional International Business Center has been created at the Murrieta City Hall to encourage international trade and growth of their local manufacturers by expanding their products for overseas market. The city has so far hosted numerous high-level delegations of business and governmental leaders among others from Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Iraq and Singapore.
