Relating To Protest Over Racism And Police Brutality In The United States

In view of protests over claims of racism and police brutality in various cities across the United States, the Consulate-General of Malaysia in Los Angeles urges Malaysian citizens in the United States to remain vigilant and exercise increased caution in order to ensure their safety and well-being. Malaysian citizens are advised to avoid areas of protests, stay at home as much as possible, and abide by curfews imposed by the local authorities, where relevant. Those who have yet to register with the Consulate are advised to do so, in case of any emergency.
So far, the Consulate has not received any report on notification of Malaysian citizens who have been harmed or injured due to the ongoing protests.
