Consul General Mr. Nekmat Ismail on 15th May 2012 attended the Annual International Awards and Scholarship Dinner in Portland, Oregon. The event was jointly sponsored by the City of Portland and the Oregon Consular Corps. The event also highlighted the international trade and investment ties between Portland and their partners around the world. The Mayor of Portland, Sam Adams was also present at the event. The Honorary Consul of Malaysia in Portland, Oregon Mr. John Blackwell is also the Honorary Secretary of the Oregon Consular Corps.
