Consul General Nekmat Ismail along with the Consuls General of thirty eight (38) countries based in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas attended a breakfast hosted by Mayor of Las Vegas, Carolyn Goodman at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Consuls General later participated in the International Luncheon hosted by Governor of Nevada, Brian Sandoval held at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts Las Vegas, Nevada. Both events were held on 11th May 2012. The state luncheon was an outreach program to promote the State of Nevada through a strategy outlined by Governor Sandoval in the "Moving Nevada Forward" Economic Development Plan.
