The Consulate General of Malaysia in Los Angeles organized a Hari Raya Open House for Malaysians on Saturday, September 26th, 2009 at the Arcadia Community Center.
The annual event was a success as approximately 700 Malaysians including students turned out to join members of the Consulate in celebrating Aidilfitri this year.
Favourite Raya dishes like Rendang, Nasi Impit, Kuah Kacang and various Kiuh Raya was served on that day. To brightened up the day, attandees was also entertained by a voluntary Malaysian Band with Raya songs.
