The Malaysian Islamic Foundation of North America (MIFNA) wrapped-up their communal iftar and taraweeh programs for the year 2013 at the residence of its Vice President, Mr. Fauzi Zainal and wife, Rina Faisal in Rancho Cucamonga, California on Saturday, 3 August 2013.
For this year, the Consul General of Malaysia in Los Angeles led the iftar and taraweeh program by hosting the first event followed by Mrs. Norhayati Daud, the Haston family, Mr. Aziman and Rohana, Mr. Sulaiman and Yasmin, and Mr. Fauzi and Rina. The iftar programs have indeed strengthened silaturrahim amongst the Malaysian Muslim community residing in California.
On behalf of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Los Angeles and as Patron of MIFNA, Consul General Nekmat would like to thank those who had hosted the event. Consul General also would like to extend his appreciation to all MIFNA members who had made effort to join the iftar and brought Malaysian favorites dishes and delicacies to be shared. May Allah SWT reward all of them for their generosity. May Allah SWT also accepts all our prayers and fasting, and blessed us all during Ramadhan, and throughout our life with His mercy, forgiveness and peace, and bring us all closer to Him and to each other.
