Tourism Malaysia Los Angeles won two awards i.e. “Certificate of Appreciation for Best Cultural Dance Performance on Global Beat Stage” by World Heritage Cultural Center Los Angeles and “Best of Show Cultural Interaction” by Show Management Unicomm Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show 2014 during the 9th Annual Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show held at Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California from 8-9 February 2014.
The Malaysian booth and the traditional Malaysian dance performances at the Global Beat Stage by Tourism Malaysia Dance Group comprising of Malaysian students in and around Los Angeles had attracted visitors to engage and know more about Malaysia traditions and culture. Many of the visitors to the Malaysian booth had also enquired information on latest Malaysia’s tourism products related to adventure and nature as well as leisure.
The two-day event had attracted more than 32,000 attendees inclusive of trade and travel agents, tour operators, writers and professionals.
