The significance of celebrating Maulidur Rasul was shared by the Malaysian community in and around Los Angeles, California as more than 80 turned up to participate in the celebration held on Saturday, 26 January 2013 at the Bronco Student Centre in California Polytechnic University in Pomona, California.
The event was organized by the Malaysian Islamic Foundation of North America (MIFNA) in collaboration with Education Malaysia Los Angeles and Malaysian students. Various programs were arranged to enliven the special occasion such as Maghrib prayer, nasyid presentations, a sketch on Prophet Muhammad’s life, Isya prayer and zikir marhaban.
