In conjunction with Malaysia’s 56th National Day, the Malaysian Association of Southern California (MASC) hosted a Merdeka Day Dinner for all its members and friends of MASC at the Garvey Community Center in Rosemead, California on Saturday, 24 August 2013.
Consul General of Malaysia in Los Angeles, Mr. Nekmat Ismail who is also the Patron of MASC, and wife attended the event. The highlight of the evening was the traditional Malaysia attire contest won by Mrs. Rina Faizal wearing a Kebaya.
