The Malaysian Islamic Foundation of Northern America (MIFNA) held its 4th Annual Family Day on 2nd June 2012 at El Dorado East Regional Park in Long Beach, California. It was a successful and joyous event with a turnout of 150 people including the Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Nekmat Ismail and his family. Mr. Nekmat Ismail in his short remarks commended MIFNA for their great efforts to gather Malaysians and friends of MIFNA in a one day event filled with sports and recreational activities as well as Malaysian foods and delicacies sale for their fund raising. The association membership has not only attracted Malaysian but also non-Malaysian. The Consul General of Malaysia in Los Angeles is the patron of MIFNA.
