YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri Tan Sri Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture Malaysia was in Los Angeles, California from 6-9 October 2013 on his campaign mission to north America to promote the Visit Malaysia Year 2014 (VMY 2014). YB Minister’s trip also covers two other cities i.e. New York, United States of America and Vancouver, Canada.
Among programs arranged by Tourism Malaysia Los Angeles were launching of Tourism Malaysia Los Angeles new website, VMY 2014 Seminar, media conference and interviews, and a dinner reception. All the events were well attended by tour operators, travel agents and members of the travel media.
The dinner reception was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Marina Del Rey, California on Tuesday, 8 October 2013. It showcases performances by the Malaysian cultural troupe from the National Department for Culture and Arts, Ministry of Culture and Tourism Malaysia. Guests had not only enjoyed the beautiful performances by the cultural troupe but had also enjoyed Malaysian hospitality and rich culture graciously undertaken by Malaysian students in Los Angeles in welcoming the guests at the reception.
