Dialogue on Passport and Consular Matters with Malaysians in New York

The Consulate General of Malaysia, New York, in collaboration with the Malaysian Association of America (MAA) and MCA Club in New York, organized a dialogue session regarding passport and consular matters with Malaysian citizens held at Dr. Sun Yat Sun Middle School (MS 131) 100 Hester Street, New York on April 12, 2009. There were about 100 Malaysians attended the dialogue, which began at 12.30pm until 3.00pm. The main objective of the dialogue was to explain to Malaysians residing in New York area the latest rules and regulations as far as passport and consular issues are concerned. It was also an opportunity to listen to the problems faced by Malaysians regarding those issues.
