DINNER OF YB FM WITH THE MALAYSIAN COMMUNITY IN NEW YOK

Dinner of YB FM with the Malaysian Community in New York

YB Datuk Seri Utama Rais Yatim, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia was in New York from 24 – 29 September 2008 to attend the United Nations General Assembly.  Apart from attending meetings at the UN, YB Minister also hosted a dinner for representatives of the Malaysian community on 27 September 2008 at the hall of Malaysian Permanent Mission in New York.  Almost 150 people attended the dinner including students.

YB Minister gave some remarks at the end of the dinner.  In his remarks, YB Minister commended Malaysians in New York for being united.  He also asked all Malaysians to help promote Malaysia through a network of Friends of Malaysia.
