HARI RAYA HAJI

Hari Raya Haji or Eidul Adha which marked the completion of the Haj for 1427 was celebrated on Saturday, 30 December 2006.  A special prayer which was followed by a small feast was held at the mission. The khutbah was read by En. Mohamad Razif Hj. Abd. Mubin, who later led the prayer. 

The event was well attended including officers and staffs of the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations, Consulate General and home based agencies such as Tourism Malaysia, MIDA, MATRADE, Bank Negara Malaysia, Maybank as well as Malaysian community in New York. 

It is also very enlightening to see many – more than 50 Malaysian students from the various universities including Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, University of Michigan, Wisconsin, Ann Arbor and New York to join the prayer and the feast.
