The purpose of the seminar was essentially to update the Malaysian community on the latest government’s immigration policy and the consular services that the Consulate provides. It is a continuous efforts on the part of the Consulate to reach out to the Malaysian community to help update and explain to them on the government policies.
During the seminar, the Consul General also responded to all enquires that were emailed to his office. These include matters pertaining to passport, emergency certificate, registration of birth, mykad, Malaysia My Second Home Programme, citizenship, registration of marriage, repatriation of remains, etc.
Registration Forms were also distributed to encourage Malaysian to register themselves with the consulate.
