The Embassy of Malaysia in Washington, D.C. together with the Consulates-General in Los Angeles and New York are pleased to inform Malaysians residing in the United States that in the spirit of Malaysia Madani, the Government of Malaysia, through the Ministry of Home Affairs and the National Registration Department, is planning to conduct an in-person MyKad and MyKid services for all Malaysians residing in the USA.
As part of the ongoing exercise, the Embassy, and the Consulates-General offices in Los Angeles in New York, are compiling and gathering more information from Malaysians residing in the USA on the prospect of having the services here in the USA, for a selected period of time.
Services that may be rendered are as follows:
- MyKad Application for Children Aged 12
- MyKid Application for Children below the age of 12
- Late Registration of Identity Card (MyKad)
- Application for Replacement of Lost Identity Card
- Application for Replacement of Old or Damaged Identity Cards
In this regard, we highly encourage Malaysians interested in obtaining the above-mentioned services in the USA, to participate in the survey by completing the form in the link below latest by Friday, April 21, 2023.
