On 16 September 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Washington, D.C. hosted the 62nd Malaysia Day Reception at its Chancery.
His Excellency Hunt VanderToll, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Southeast Asia and ASEAN Affairs, Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, U.S. Department of State, represented the Government of the United States at the event as the Guest of Honour.
The celebration brought together more than 300 distinguished guests representing various U.S. Government’s departments and agencies, diplomatic corps, business entities, and friends of Malaysia. We look forward to many more years of continuous strong partnership between Malaysia and the United States moving forward.
